Activities

Newcomers is a social platform and a network for LGBTQI refugees and LGBTQI migrants in RFSL Jämtland Härjedalen who meet regularly and find activities based on participant’s wishes.

You as a participant may be an asylum seeker, live without papers, have been granted a residence permit, moved through affiliation, to work, study or for other reasons, and want to find a context together with other LGBTQI migrants.

Language Café

We regularly organize a language café where LGBTQI asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants can practice their Swedish language skills, socialize, and meet new people. We welcome everyone, from beginners to more advanced speakers.

Social activities

We plan to organise different social and leisure activities for our Newcomers members, depending on your interests and preferences. Follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming activities!
